These sessions are a chance to meet in person for coffee or cocktails and discuss all things business. I'm incredibly open about my own process from how I attract my ideal clients, handle bookings and contracts, organize sales and expenses, plan for weddings days, edit and deliver images, and utilize social media. I'm happy to answer any and all questions that you bring to the session, which lasts about 2 hours.

Sessions include but are not limited to:

  • Organizing your workflow to maximize efficiency and limit your office time (so you can get back to shooting)
  • Attracting your ideal clients
  • Pricing your weddings
  • Planning wedding days to best serve your clients and to create the space for you to do your job
  • Shooting and posing to create heartfelt and joyful images
  • Understanding how to use light and keep it consistent through the day
  • Complete post-processing workflow (editing, blogging, delivery to clients, and storage)
  • Portfolio and/or website review and constructive critique
  • Photos of you for your website, social media, wall in your house

After shooting almost 100 weddings over the last 3.5 years, I've learned a few things. My business has grown to be something for which I am so grateful and enjoy greatly, and I'd like for you to have something similar. I love that my job is relational at its core, whether I'm working with brides and grooms, or other photographers. So, my mentor sessions are a natural extension of my work with my couples. They're focused on authenticity, creativity, and quality. I believe that teaching others only makes our industry stronger.

Below you'll find two options for sessions. If you'd like to discuss what a mentor session will look like for you, get in touch here

A good portion of my business is focused on serving clients from far away, so I also offer mentor sessions for photographers who are unable to stop by Lancaster. While we may not be able to meet for coffee or cocktails, we can still tell jokes and dig into your business over the Internet. I'm happy to answer any and all questions that you bring to the session, which lasts about 2 hours.
